The Importance of Organization

Recently I have been trying to stay more organized. I went through my closet and books so far and I plan to do more. I have a lot of clutter in my room and on my desk that is just junk lying around or things that have, over time, become messy. Recently I have been looking into the KonMari method. I have watched a lot of youtube videos and I really suggest Lavendaire (click the name to check out her youtube channel). The KonMari method has you get rid of things based on your emotional attachment to it. It is a method similar to minimalism, in which you keep the things that bring you joy. There is also a special way to fold things, it can really save you space. I am only briefly touching on the KonMari method so feel free to do more research on it if you find it interesting.


I also believe the saying that "the state of your room is the state of your mind". Whenever your house or room are clean then it just feels like you have life a little more under control, which we all need. When my room is clean I stress less, because clutter is only an added stress when you are trying to deal with loads of other things. Do yourself a favor and once and a while clean up your house, room, etc. you will be doing yourself a big favor and saving yourself unnecessary stress.
